SNOW

Snow has fallen recently and more is forecast. High winds have produced ice clouds which glint rainbow colours.
Snow has fallen recently. The cap on Taranaki was already established but now the winter coat extends well down to the foothills. More snow falls are forecast as winds from the South bring more cold fronts in the next weeks.  The effects of high winds at high altitudes  are seen as ice clouds. These glint rainbow colours. Look out for the lenticular clouds too on the live view.
